It is the au pair’s responsibility to organise his/her own travel and insurance before travelling to the UK.

All au pairs are currently advised to obtain travel insurance before travelling to the UK due to Brexit/COVID.

Applicants with T5 visa have a health insurance cost built into the visa cost - regardless, an additional travel insurance cover is strongly recommended.
