Smartaupairs has a small, friendly team at hand to help!
Smartaupairs has over 13 years of experience in the au pair industry. Over the years we have grown from a little home office to one of the UK’s leading au pair agencies!
Our office is based in Kent, and we place the majority of our au pairs in London & the surrounding commuter counties. Our ever so popular au pair events are often also focused in London, which is within easy access to the majority of au pairs and our team.
We have a small and dedicated team to guide both families and au pairs through the initial registration to post arrival placement support.
Here is a little more information about each of us. As a host family you will most likely speak with our consultants Tuuli & Chloe.
Tuuli - Owner, Managing Director
Family Support, Consultations, Au Pair Events
Tuuli has been part of the Smartaupairs team since the early years (over 10 years!) and supports our host families throughout the au pair placement process – from initial consultation, to post-arrival help and mediation where necessary. She takes great care to listen to our host family needs and requirements and goes to great lengths to ensure the best possible match between the host families and the au pairs.
Over the years, Tuuli has been part of designing a highly effective search & placement process which offers the most convenience to our host families and support for both host families and au pairs at the key moments of the stay.
She also regularly organises the ever so popular au pair events!
As of 2015, Tuuli is a member of the executive committee of BAPAA, the British Au Pair Agencies Association.
You probably didnt know that I started in Smartaupairs as an intern over 10 years ago, and never left.
I love travelling & good food (and wine) - who doesnt! And to counter balance all the meals in and out, I do my best to get to the gym on most days - so I often go about in my active wear in and out of office.
Chloe - Manager
Family Support, Consultations, Agency Liaison
Chloe is our partner agency liaison manager and host family consultant. Chloe has also been part of our team since the early years and has a wealth of knowledge of the programme. She works alongside Tuuli in supporting the search and placement process and is known for her incredible patience and calm approach even when the office gets busy.
Chloe is our main point of contact for our partner agencies abroad. She ensures the highest possible standard in the au pair vetting process is maintained across our wide partner agency network.
You probably didn't know that.. "I am a huge football fan and spend most weekends following my team around the country. I love spending time outdoors and going for long walks in the countryside and along the coast. My newest hobby is growing my own fruit and vegetables at my allotment!"

Arlene manages important daily admin - For example, she helps with database maintenance and updates, preparing certificates, proof of address documents, and reference checking.
You probably didn't know that… "I sing at a choir at church! I enjoy reading, puzzles and LEGO. I am a mom of a wonderful 3 year old boy and another on the way!"
Gladys - Administator
General Administrative Support
Gladys manages au pair travel forms, invitation forms and ensures all au pairs receive relevant support material upon placement confirmation.
You probably didn't know that.."I am currently finishing my master’s degree in business administration. A mom of a cute 2-year-old girl. I am also a beauty, fashion and fitness enthusiast. Further, I am an animal and nature lover. In fact, my family has 7 lovely dogs and 3 cats at home!"
