Smartaupairs & Nannies has a small, friendly team at hand to help!

With 20 years of experience in the cultural exchange industry, we are the UK’s trusted, go-to agency for live-in placements. Over the years, we’ve grown into one of the country’s leading agencies, specialising in cultural childcare. 

We place the majority of candidates in London and the surrounding commuter counties. Our ever-popular au pair and nanny events are also largely based in London, offering easy access for most of our candidates.

Our small, dedicated team is here to support both families and childcarers every step of the way—from initial registration through to post-arrival placement support.

Tuuli - Owner, Managing Director

Tuuli has been part of the Smartaupairs & Nannies team since the early years and supports our families throughout the placement process – from initial consultation, to post-arrival help and mediation where necessary. She takes great care to listen to our family needs and requirements and goes to great lengths to ensure the best possible match between the families and childcarers. Every client has my direct mobile phone number. 

Over the years, Tuuli has been part of designing a highly effective search & placement process which offers the most convenience to our families and support at the key moments of the placement. 

As someone who travelled internationally from a young age, and as a mum to a little boy - she understands the program on a deeper level - from both the childcarer as well as the parent perspective.

Cynthia Cary - Senior Consultant

With a wealth of experience in the cultural exchange world, she offers new families a warm, clear, and no-nonsense introduction to our program—helping them feel confident and supported right from the start.

Meg - Administrator 

Meg is our wonderfully efficient admin who keeps everything running behind the scenes πŸ› οΈβœ¨

She supports the entire matching and placement process with great care and attention—making sure families and childcarers alike feel supported every step of the way.

We’d be lost without her! 

Brie - Community Ambassador, Candidate Interviews 

Brie supports us with events and administrative tasks, including candidate interviews. She has a wealth of experience as an au pair herself (placed by our agency, of course). 

Yan - Community Ambassador, Events, Social Media 

Yan is at the helm of keeping our social media alive & she also organises fun events for au pairs and nannies!

She is a current au pair in one of our families, diving her time between London and Kent.
