At Smart Au Pairs & Nannies we offer the following programmes, depending on your preferences and eligibility:

- Au Pair in the UK — live with a lovely British family in London, the Home Counties or Scotland. Free to apply, with full support and a friendly au pair & nanny community.

- Gap Year Abroad — get paid to explore Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Spain, Italy or China through our trusted partner agencies. The China programme is completely free — and our free eligibility checker shows which destinations your passport opens in thirty seconds.

- Junior Nanny or Nanny in the UK — live-in and live-out roles, full and part time, with competitive salaries across London, the South East and Scotland.

UK programme entry requirements — you can apply if you hold one of the following:

• A Youth Mobility Scheme visa or eligibility (Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Japan, South Korea and more — up to age 35 for several nationalities)
• British or Irish citizenship
• EU/EEA citizenship WITH UK Settled or Pre-Settled Status (you must already hold this status to apply)
• A UK Ancestry visa or dual British nationality (e.g. South Africans with a UK-born grandparent — check your eligibility before applying)
• A degree-level Student visa with work permission

Eligibility for our overseas destinations varies by nationality — check yours here or simply message us.

NB: We cannot place EU nationals in the UK unless you have already lived and worked here to gain UK working rights. Other gap year destinations are however open to you!
