Here is the itinerary:

This trip takes you into the heart of Stratford-upon-Avon, the home of famous poet William Shakespeare, where you'll have the chance to visit Shakespeare's Birthplace, followed by a visit Bourton on the Water - sometimes referred to as the 'Venice of the Cotswolds.' We'll travel by executive coach, in the company of a professional guide on this great day out! The tour price includes;

  • A fully guided walking tour of Stratford upon Avon

  • Entry to Shakespeare's Birthplace

  • A visit to the beautiful village of Bourton on the Water

  • A scenic drive through the Cotswolds

  • Return transport from London by executive coach

  • The services of a professional guide for the duration of your tour

Our first stop of the day is Stratford-upon-Avon, around 2 hours drive from London. Upon arrival, we begin the day with a walking tour with our professional guide. On the walking tour you'll have the chance to see a remarkable array of timber framed Tudor buildings that survive from Shakespeare's own lifetime, including his church, school and family homes, which really bring the tales of the Great Bard to life. After the walking tour, you will enter the house that Shakespeare was born in, as well as a quick visit to his wife's childhood home, Anne Hathaway's cottage in Shottery.

After some free time to explore, we'll journey to our next stop of the day, Bourton on the Water. Bourton on the Water is largely considered to be one of the prettiest villages in the Cotswolds, and with the River Windrush flowing right through the centre of town, has earned the nickname 'The Venice of the Cotswolds.' You will have some time to explore the quaint shops and buildings in this stunning village, before we make our return to London, with a drive through some of scenic Cotswolds villages on the way.

We aim to arrive back at International Students House, 229 Great Portland Street at approximately 7pm.

We hope to see as many of you there as possible.

Any questions, please do not hesitate to ask!
