In April 2013 - Smartaupairs celebrated 8 years of success in au pair industry!

The team at our Au Pair Agency is split between our offices in the UK and Australia. We want you to benefit from our expertise and passion for cultural exchange. Your satisfaction with our service and the au pair experience as a whole is our priority and our daily ambition.

Our MD and founder, a well-travelled business mum; Nicole Kofkin has lived in 6 European countries.

Nicole recognised that her professional and cultural background can help working parents find alternative solutions to the work/life balance. She began her career in International Marketing and worked for several 'Blue Chip' companies. SMARTAUPAIRS UK TEAM

Tuuli Liiskmaa is the manager of the UK office. Tuuli was born in Estonia and lived in Finland for 10 years, before moving to England to study management. She joined Smartaupairs team as an intern in 2008 and since, has supported 1000s of successful au pair placements. Click here to see a message from Tuuli

Chloe Richardson is our communications executive; with a degree in German and her personal experience gained from a student exchange in Germany, she is ideally placed to provide support and guidance to our au pairs and host families. Click here to see a message from Chloe

Connie Lee is our business development manager. She has a first class degree in business and her primary focus is to help new host families. Connie also supports the development and further growth of the smartaupairs au pair agency. 

Karoliina Hakala supports all our au pairs before and during their au pair stay. She also co-ordinates au pair events and provides general support in the offce.

Ilona Whitewood is our office assistant. She is originally from the Czech Republic and was au pair in Britain many years ago. She provides the team with additional administrative support. Working from home, she manages au pair profiles, sends out welcome packs and much more.

Smartaupairs UK is a member of the National Association of Au Pair Agencies in Britain. Nicole Kofkin, our MD, has been on the board of BAPAA from 2007 to 2009.

Smartaupairs is a member of IAPA. Many of our partner agencies in Europe and Worldwide are also long-standing members of IAPA.

For 2 years, Nicole Kofkin represented BAPAA and the Au Pair in Britain program on the European Committee for Au Pair Standards (ECAPS), with the objective of defining au pair standards within Europe.
